Skills and strategies to prepare you for the WCAG 2 National Transition Strategy
It’s early 2012 and the National Transition Strategy (NTS) is already in effect. This means that by now, your organisation should have done its stocktake and identified what online content you’ve got, and how much of it is accessible, and how much work is ahead of you to make the rest compliant with the mandated Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2 (WCAG 2).
This practical course cuts across WCAG 2 through to the underlying need for inclusive design. It will explain the user experience when dealing with various types of online content, show you what to look out for, how to design for it, and how to test it. It will equip you with the techniques and tools you will need to be operational in checking your online assets for accessibility compliance.
Who:
This course is designed for web content authors, visual designers, publishers, developers, business analysts, communications and web teams, marketing, human resources, procurement, and anyone involved with online content.
